                                      Opening 7 Sins 
Il gruppo, nato dall’incontro tra Riki Maiocchi e Ritchie Blackmore dei Deep Purple, venne portato al successo dal tastierista Joe Vescovi. Lui prese le redini di quella che fu una band italiana all’altezza del meglio della British invasion e del rock psichedelico anglosassone.

La formazione storica vedeva Pino Sinnone (batteria), Joe Vescovi (tastiere, voce), Arvid Wegg Andersen (basso,voce), Billy Grey (chitarra).

Joe Vescovi, in punto di morte, espresse la volontà che Pino “Caronte” Sinnone formasse una band che permettesse al mondo di non dimenticare la musica dei Trip. Nascono così nel 2015 i The New Trip per poi diventare definitivamente The Trip.

Nel 2019, dopo diversi cambi di formazione, Pino Sinnone arriva all’assetto stabile della band, che vede già in formazione dal 2015 Andrea Ranfa Ranfagni alla voce (sovente vocalist per Ian Paice dei Deep Purple e attuale cantante dei Vanexa), il polistrumentista Carmine Capasso alle chitarre (già cantautore e session man con diverse e importanti collaborazioni alle spalle) e due noti musicisti della scena musicale milanese, ovvero Andrea “Dave” D’Avino all’hammond e tastiere, e Tony Alemanno al basso e voce.
